Both new cases are in adults, with one recently returning from northern Italy.
The second person was in contact with someone in the UK who had tested positive for Covid-19.
There’s no connection between the two new cases and the first case that was confirmed in Northern Ireland on 27 February.
Neither of the people travelled back through the Republic of Ireland on their way to Northern Ireland.
The first confirmed case in Northern Ireland was in a woman who had returned from northern Italy, who has received “specialist medical healthcare”.
