Tiger Woods has apologised via Twitter for his awful act of spitting on the course of the Dubai Desert Classic. At least someone thought of the children.
Woods was fined an undisclosed amount for gobbing on the green during the event on numerous occasions, causing TV commentator Ewan Murray to exclaim that he was ‘disgusted’ by the 14-time major winner’s actions.
‘The Euro Tour is right – it was inconsiderate to spit like that and I know better,’ tweeted Woods.
‘Just wasn’t thinking and want to say I’m sorry.’
Tiger has had a difficult time as of late, having not had a single tournament victory in 15 months, amid the reporting numerous cases of infedility from the golfer’s personal life. You may have heard about it.
