Would you drink this?
Earlier today, we brought you pictorial evidence of an odd drink combination made by the folks at An Púcán in Galway.
Made of Guinness and Smirnoff Ice and called Black Ice, it certainly looked the part and they reckon it’s tasty too, although we’d like to reserve judgement until we’ve had a sip for ourselves.
Cork folk like nothing better than proving they can do things better and with that in mind, JOE reader Andreas Scannell, a barman in the Mills Inn in Ballyvourney in Cork, has sent us a picture of a drink he poured at the weekend that was requested by a group of lads in the bar.
He didn’t give us a name for it, but it’s made up of Murphy’s stout and Blue WKD and having looked at it, we suddenly want a drink.
Imagine the hangover you’d have the morning after a few pints of this?
