Who needs a sparkly new car when you’ve got a slick Massey Ferguson?
JOE reader Alan Kelly has been in touch with the following pic, which was snapped in Mayo recently, and it involves a groom in desperate need of some wheels, some quick thinking groomsmen and a seriously sound farmer.
Speaking to JOE, Alan said: “Check out what happened when the car bringing the groom and groomsmen to a wedding broke down on a quiet country road in Cong, Mayo.
“Quick thinking groomsman went into a nearby farm yard and acquired a vehicle to continue the journey even changing over the ribbons to make it look as if it was all planned.”
“The farmer, Tom McGrath, was delighted to help out a couple in need.”
