Westmeath has been badly hit by the recent floods.
Pretty much the whole country has felt the force of the awful weather of late, with certain areas particularly affected.
Westmeath has definitely been one of the worst hit counties and this video showing Athlone from above demonstrates the considerable damage.
Take a look, because it’s pretty eye-opening.
