We can all agree that this is disgusting, right?
When we go to the cinema, one of the last things on our minds is whether or not the environment we’ll be sitting in for the next two hours is clean, tidy and hygienic.
Well if, like us, you just assume that the place is being well looked after you might want to check out this video that has gone viral in the States.
A movie theatre in Independence, Missouri is being investigated by the health department for the second time inside four months after this video by customer Kelli Redford did the rounds.
“I turned on my flashlight…..AMC 20 INDEPENDENCE MO….praying I survive my last movie here,” she captioned the post.
Anyone else feel like getting sick?
This came after the cinema had recently been sprayed for bed bugs, although a spokesperson for the theatre claimed that that problem had been addressed.
The disgusting, stained, gum-littered chairs and general sense of disrepair, however, remain firmly in place if this footage is anything to go by.
We’ll be turning on our phone torches next time we go to the talkies, that’s for damn sure.
