We know it’s hot out, but this is taking it too far.
Driving in this heat is a struggle. Especially if you’ve left your car parked in the sun for a lengthy period of time.
That first moment where you sit down on a roasting hot seat, and touch the roasting hot steering wheel, you can’t help but wish you were cool/rich enough to drive a convertible.
Well one driver in Cork took it one step further.
A car was stopped at a checkpoint on Tuesday morning that had half a windshield.
Whilst we we would recommend keeping cool in the hot weather… this is a bit much. Cork City RPU stopped this 'car' at #OperationThor checkpoint. No Tax/Ins/NCT & only 1/2 a windscreen! Very dangerous to all on the roads. Car seized, court to follow #heatwave #gonewiththewind pic.twitter.com/UlwGgSge8a

It’s one way of keeping cool, but not one that we would be too quick to recommend.
On top of the obvious omission, the car also had no tax, no insurance and no NCT.
Maybe this particular motorist should just get a bike instead.
