Here are all the best films on the box today

Conor Heneghan

Including a movie often cited as one of the greatest ever made.

It was too cold to go out on Thursday and on Friday it’s going to be too wild to venture out of doors, particularly with those scary thunderstorms forecast.

All things considered, you’ve little choice but to consign yourself to the couch once again to avail of one of the last lazy days of 2017 and spend the day camped in front of the TV.

Viewers will be spoiled for choice with the number of movie options on terrestrial TV, including the brilliant Up on BBC One this afternoon, two Harry Potter movies, another James Bond flick and arguably the greatest movie of them all on TV3 later on tonight.
