Here are all the best films on TV today

Paul Moore

Settle in because there are a few belters on TV today.

What day is it? Who knows? We’re now in the Twilight Zone after Christmas where space and time doesn’t exist. Until New Year’s Eve comes around, the only thing we’re sure about is the fact that everyone needs to stay on their couch and watch TV.

With this in mind, here are the best films on TV today.

Kindergarten Cop – 10:25 on UTV

Who is your daddy and what does he do?

Emma -12:30 on BBC2

All very posh.

Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade – 13.15 on BBC1

We named the dog Indiana.

Happy Feet Two – 14:15 on ITV2

Penguins + more singing = fun.

Raiders of the Lost Ark – 13.35 on RTÉ1

Unlike the arc of the covenant, look at it….again and again and again and again. A classic.

Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom – 15.40 on RTÉ1

Fortune and glory, kid. Fortune and glory.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – 15.45 on RTÉ2

Do yourself a favour and fast forward through the entire segment in the forest.

Wreck-It Ralph – 16.10 on BBC1

Brilliant idea, brilliant cast, brilliant gags. Eh, yeah, it’s brilliant.

Casper – 16.20 on ITV2

Anyone in the mood for nostalgia?

Kung Fu Panda – 18:00 Virgin Media Two

What’s not to love about a panda doing kung fu?

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part Two – 18.15 on RTÉ2

Wonderful ending to the beloved franchise with some brilliant action and an epic line from Molly Weasley.

Iron Man 2 – 18.25 on ITV2

Mickey Rourke. Cockatoo.  Discuss.

Sherlock Holmes : A Game of Shadows – 21.00 on ITV2

Manages to up the action and introduce Moriarty. A fine way to pass the time.

Final Destination 5 – 22.00 Comedy Central

On Comedy Central? Ok. Death, elaborate death, and even more death.

Gladiator – 23.10 on More4

Swords, sandals and Russell Crowe at his very best.

Rocky V – 00.20 on RTÉ2

Stallone didn’t like it but maybe you do?
