This is shaping up to be exceptional.
There are certain actors that film fans will watch in absolutely anything, Denzel Washington is one of these actors.
For over 30 years, the two-time Academy Award winner has been a commanding presence on stage and film, and with his new film Fences picking up a host of Oscar nominations, audiences are going to be seeing lots more of Denzel in the weeks to come.
One man that might also be seeing a lot more of the Man On Fire, Training Day and Glory star is Colin Farrell because the Dubliner is being linked with a role alongside Washington in his new film, Inner City.
If the prospect of these two men collaborating isn’t enough to get you excited, you’ll be delighted to know that Tony Gilroy is the man that’s attached to direct.
In case you’re wondering, Gilory was the director behind one of the best thrillers from the last decade, the superb Jake Gyllenhaal-starring thriller Nightcrawler.
Inner City focuses on an awkward, reclusive lawyer (Washington) who has worked as a legal researcher in Los Angeles for decades. When his mentor passes away, he is recruited by a prestigious and more cutthroat law firm where he stumbles upon a case that changes his entire life.
The Hollywood Reporter have stated that Farrell is currently in negotiations to join the cast and that he’s being earmarked to play a slick, money-focused lawyer.
King Kong aint got shit on Farrell!
My man.
