A new hope for the First Order to strike back
A long time ago in a country that’s not too far, far away a young Irish man set off on an epic adventure to conquer the evil empire that’s called Hollywood and we’re delighted to say that he has succeeded.
We’re massive fans of Domhnall Gleeson but his character in Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens has been shrouded in more mystery than Senator Palpatine’s scheming plans.
Would he be following Yoda’s advice and be a goddy two shoes or was the lure of the Dark Side too strong for him?
We’ve already seen the behind the scenes footage but Gleeson announced that he will be playing imperial General Hux and he’s definitely not going to be helping out Luke, Han and Chewie.
In a nice touch to the original film, Gleeson’s character will be the commanding officer of the Starkiller Base, referring to the original last name of Luke Skywalker in Lucas’s script.
