The Fantastic Four actor is in the spotlight.
The latest comic-book film to land in Irish cinemas will be more familiar than others as The Fantastic Four gets a reboot with Miles Teller taking the role of Reed Richards aka Mister Fantastic.
The actor has been the talk of Twitter this week after a candid and revealing interview with Esquire but what else do we know about him?
1) He has a bit of Irish in him
His paternal grandfather was of Russian Jewish descent, while his other ancestry is English, Irish, Polish, and French.
That’s an eclectic mix but it still counts as far as I’m concerned.
2) Sadly art did imitate his own life
The scars on his face are the result of a near-fatal car accident in 2007 when he was studying in New York University’s Tisch School of Arts.
If anyone saw his stunning performance in Whiplash then you’ll know that a pivotal scene also involves a car accident.
The actor has been fairly candid about the ordeal.

3) He has an impressive body of work
The 28-year-old has progressively been moving up the Hollywood pecking order since his breakthrough performance alongside Nicole Kidman in Rabbit Hole.
Aside from Whiplash, you may have noticed him in Footloose, Project X, 21 & Over and the Divergent series. Next up for him is a starring role alongside Jonah Hill in Arms for Dudes, the latest film from The Hangover director Todd Phillips.
He’s also getting ripped for the boxing drama, Bleed for This.

4) About that interview
The opening two paragraphs in Esquire set the tone for one of the more interesting interviews that you’ll read;
“You’re sitting across from Miles Teller at the Luminary restaurant in Atlanta and trying to figure out if he’s a dick.
You’ve just told him, by way of making conversation, that according to legend the champagne coupe in your hand is shaped like Marie Antoinette’s left breast, and he tells you the highball glass is modeled after his cock. Then he tells the waitress the same thing.”
5) This is his missus
He has been in a relationship with model Keleigh Sperry for the past two years.
