Godzilla vs. Kong will be available to watch at home in Ireland from 1 April

One of the biggest movies of 2021 will be going straight to home viewing.

Warner Brothers have been having quite a productive March!

This week, they announced that three of their big early 2021 movies will be going straight to PVOD platforms – the likes of Sky Store, Google Play, Apple TV, Rakuten TV, etc.

Then they announced that Zack Snyder’s Justice League will be available on NOW TV and Sky Cinema later this month.

And today they’ve confirmed that one of 2021’s biggest blockbusters will also be going straight to PVOD platforms in Ireland, since cinemas are remaining closed for the foreseeable future.

Godzilla vs. Kong – which is a sequel to both Godzilla: King of the Monsters and Kong: Skull Island – stars Alexander Skarsgård, Millie Bobby Brown, Rebecca Hall, Brian Tyree Henry, Shun Oguri, Eiza González, Julian Dennison, Kyle Chandler, and Demián Bichir, and is directed by Adam Wingard (The Guest, You’re Next).

The reportedly-budgeted $200 million blockbuster was originally scheduled to arrive in cinemas in March 2020, and was delayed several times due to Covid, before finally scheduled to arrive in the States on Wednesday, 31 March, simultaneously in cinemas and on HBO Max’s streaming service.

As cinemas are not open here yet, and HBO Max is currently not available in Ireland, Godzilla vs. Kong will be made available to watch on PVOD platforms from Thursday, 1 April.
