This cult classic sees Ed Norton play a criminal who has 24 hours to say his goodbyes before he is put behind bars for seven years. Barry Pepper and Philip Seymour Hoffman also star in this Spike Lee classic.
Watch out for one of the best monologues in movie history.

The Motel Life
Emile Hirsch and Stephen Dorff are brilliant as a pair of brothers down on their luck in this fantastic adaptation of Willy Vlautin’s debut novel.

This journalist would watch anything with Brie Larson in it. It helps that the rest of the cast of this indie nugget are just as good.

James McAvoy as you’ve never seen him before. This adaptation of the Irvine Welsh movie is as debauched as it is brilliant. A must watch… just not when your parents are at home.

And now for something completely different. This animated masterpiece will immediately restore your faith in humanity after Filth strips it away.

The Vicious Kind
Adam Scott and J.K. Simmons star in this fantastic film about a family struggling to put the past behind them. Scott’s performance is absolutely flawless.

Reality Bites
A coming of age film which captures the feeling of being young, lost and broke perfectly. This is a movie which was made in 1994, but 20 somethings from the 2010s can still relate to it.
Also, Winona Ryder and Ethan Hawke have a fantastic on screen relationship.

A powerful story about obsession and privacy within Germany before the fall of the Berlin Wall. This really is a powerful film.

The Illusionist
2010 movie, The Illusionist is easily one of the most beautiful movies I’ve ever seen. A wonderful piece of animation and storytelling which captures the imagination from start to finish.
