Glory, The Last Samurai and Blood Diamond are just some of the remarkable films that Ed Zwick has directed and we’re delighted to say that the talented filmamker is behind the lens on Jack Reacher: Never Go Back.
The sequel to the 2012 actioner is the second time that the Oscar winner has worked with Tom Cruise – we absolutely loved their first effort, the sweeping epic that is The Last Samurai – and there’s no denying that Zwick has the ability to balance drama, action and character with aplomb.
JOE’s Paul Moore got to chat with the eclectic filmmaker on a variety of topics including; Jack Reacher’s return, Tom Cruise’s remarkable work ethic and some of the other memorable films that Zwick has directed, like Blood Diamond.
