Some excellent news for Barrett and everyone involved this evening as Glassland has been selected for the World Cinema Competition at the Sundance Film Festival.
Sundance is one of the biggest independent film festivals in the United States with film-makers like Steven Soderbergh. Quentin Tarantino and Kevin Smith getting their big break there.
Great news for Irish film-makers and Gerard Barrett. Best of luck to him at the festival.
