The actress has moved to clear up any confusion.
United Left Alliance TD Joan Collins was among thirteen people arrested at an Irish Water protest in Crumlin yesterday.
The arrests happened on Parnell Road and the people were released later in the afternoon.
Myself @PatDunneUL and others were arrested this morning for peacefully protesting the installation of water meters in Crumlin.

If you’re not into politics and you heard that “Joan Collins” was arrested, you’d probably think of the legendary Hollywood actress of the same name.

It seems the silver screen Collins got wind of the incident in Dublin and this morning moved to clear up any confusion about the matter.

For the record I'm not @JoanCollinsOBE as I'd never take an honour from a monarch nor did I wear shoulder pads in the 80s. The very idea!
