Ireland has been the location for some major Hollywood films in the past – Braveheart, King Arthur and Saving Private Ryan all spring to mind – but we still haven’t had a visit from 007.
Even Navan man Pierce Brosnan couldn’t manage to bring his Walther PPK and tuxedo to these shores and it seems like we’re one of the few countries where Bond hasn’t been visited during his work on his majesty’s secret service.

Were certain that 007 would be able to work from Ireland with grá but we’re not holding our breath, the sky might have to fall before he makes a visit.
Who knows, maybe we scare the living daylights out of him? Come visit Ireland Mr Bond, sure you only live twice.
