Legendary English actor Sir Roger Moore has sadly passed away, aged 89, his family confirmed in a statement on Tuesday afternoon.
A statement by Moore’s children, Deborah, Geoffrey and Christian, confirmed that the former James Bond actor passed away in Switzerland after a short but brave battle with cancer.

A highly decorated and much-loved performer, Moore will be best remembered for starring in seven James Bond films between the years of 1973 and 1985.
