If you’re going to come after Jason Bourne then you better be good. Very good.
Clive Owen, Karl Urban and Edgar Ramirez have previously tried to use their Treadstone/Blackbriar skills to take out Jason Bourne/Matt Damon/David Webb/Ben Affleck’s best mate but they’ve all failed.
This guy is my favourite though because he was clearly taking lessons from Father Jack.
Brian Cox, Albert Finney, David Strathairn and Chris Cooper have also tried to undermine the CIA operative via some shady tactics but Bourne’s new adversary will be très difficile.
We all know that the new Bourne film will be set in a post-Snowden world and Variety are reporting that Vincent Cassel will be playing an “assassin tracking Bourne” and aiming to put him in a body bag by any means possible.
If you’ve ever seen La Haine, Derailed, Black Swan or Eastern Promises then you’ll know that the French actor has the necessary intensity and physicality to be a match for Bourne.
We can’t wait for this one.
