The Man of Steel may need nerves of steel.
Not even Batman’s cowl could dampen the enthusiasm among film fans right now because Comic-Con is in full swing and it doesn’t take Gotham’s finest detective or Krypton’s most famous son to know what the highlight is.
Superman might be wondering where Batman gets those wonderful toys from in a few months time with Zack Snyder’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
The initial trailer set the mood but very little has been revealed in terms of the plot, until now.
It seems that the film will pick up from the events of ‘Man of Steel’ as Batman seeks vengeance for people that he lost along with a very stern examination of Kal-El’s methods.
You may remember that the final fight between Superman and General Zod caused more destruction that a thousand Transformers films but one of the buildings in Metropolis that was destroyed belonged to a certain Bruce Wayne
.
Ben Affleck has been quoted as saying that ““one of the things I liked was Zack’s idea of showing accountability and the consequences of violence and seeing that there are real people in those buildings. And in fact, one of those buildings was Bruce Wayne’s building so he knew people who died in that Black Zero event.”
There you have it, Batman’s motivation is cold-blooded revenge for the friends and employees that he lost. I’m 100% certain that the Dark Knight has never hurt people for those reasons before.
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is scheduled for theaters come March 25, 2016.
