Video: Irish director helms new Belfast set Dracula film & the trailer looks very impressive

Dracula Begins (again)…

It’s not every day that an Irish director gets to helm a huge Hollywood blockbuster so JOE is delighted to see Gary Shore calling the shots on Dracula: Untold.

The Dubliner amazed studio heads with his impressive Ad work and the trailer for this one looks very promising.

The film focuses on the life of Vlad III, who was posthumously dubbed Vlad the Impaler on his transition into Dracula. JOE thinks that it’s very fitting to see an Irishman directing a Dracula film, seeing as Bram Stoker did create the story back in 1897!

Dracula: Untold was also filmed in Belfast and Game of Throne’s fans may recognise a familiar face, Charles Dance aka Tywin Lannister.

JOE will be keeping a close eye on this one and we think you should too…
