Video: Jennifer Lopez film features the most idiotic movie mistake of all time

Did they think we wouldn't notice?

Did they think we wouldn’t notice?

From the looks of it, The Boy Next Door didn’t need much help looking like absolute tripe, but they got it anyway.

The Jennifer Lopez-starring romantic drama sees her older woman seduce a younger man, with DRAMATIC RESULTS, but we’ll stop there with the plot details.

In this scene, the young lad in question turns up with a first edition of the classic Greek poem The Iliad, which was composed 3,000 years ago and did not appear in print until the 10th century, which he apparently picked up for “a buck” at a local garage sale.

Thankfully, the scene has received the mockery it so richly deserves and the film is well on its way to achieving Gigli status as one of the worst ever made.
