He wasn’t impressed and rightfully so.
A few weeks ago, I was given the opportunity to chat with Jonah Hill ahead of the release of his new film War Dogs and he couldn’t have been any nicer. The two time Oscar nominee was more than happy to talk about a variety of topics that ranged from working with Todd Phillips, the prank Leonardo DiCaprio pulled on him, The Simpsons and his time in Ireland.
Oh yeah, he also wished me a happy birthday as I got up to leave. In a nutshell, he was really sound as you can see below.
The actor definitely wasn’t in a good mood though after leaving the set of the Canal+ talk show Le Grand Journal. Ornella Fleury is a French TV personality and she decided to talk about a fantasy that she had with Hill. She said (via translation): ““I have a fantasy with you, Jonah. Just “fantasy” it works, so I end with this valve… It would be that it is found both in a hotel room in the evening, we talk, you make me laugh a lot and then, all of a sudden, you bring in your buddies DiCaprio and Brad Pitt and you, you leave.“
What that has to do with promoting a film, we don’t know. Fair play to Hill though because he handled it quite well.
