If you haven’t seen Older In Ireland then you’re in luck…
Having received brilliant reviews since its release, Older In Ireland is an Irish documentary which explores the lives of thirty Irish men and women aged 100 years and over.
Think about it, that’s even older than that old satsuma that’s still sitting at the bottom of the old fruit bowl in your old Granny’s kitchen.
These remarkable people share their life’s memories in this charming, funny and poignant film, from their birth at the dawn of Irish independence, to their life as a centenarian in modern Ireland.
Filmmaker Alex Fegan meets the oldest Irish person ever on record, 113-year-old Kathleen Snavely, as well as Ireland’s oldest man, 108-year-old Luke Dolan, along with a number of other colourful characters from all walks of life, each of their extraordinary stories part of the country’s living history.
