Construction workers looking for employment in Dublin, take note.
Up to 120 jobs will be created in Dublin following the announcement of a €7 million expansion on Castleknock Hotel and Country Club in Dublin.
FBD Hotels & Resorts announced the expansion on Wednesday and are inviting invitations for tender, with construction on the expansion set to begin in November.
Up to 100 construction jobs are expected to be created as a result, while a further 20 new full-time positions will be created when the expansion is completed, which is expected to be early in 2018.
The capacity of the hotel will increase by 46 rooms to 190 when the expansion in completed, while a new aerobics suite and five new treatment rooms will be added to a new and improved day spa and leisure centre.
Castleknock Hotel and Country Club was the winner of the AA Hotel of the Year in 2013/14.
