ESB Networks reported online that 1,568 customers lost electricity in the Lucan area of Dublin after a fault on Sunday morning.
The electricity cut out for these homes at around 8:48am, and ESB are rushing to restore the electricity in time for everyone to catch today’s amazing schedule of football.
The originally estimated restore time was midday, and while ESB haven’t confirmed that the electricity is back up and running on their Twitter account, powercheck.ie seems to suggest that the fault is now over. Sadly, another more minor fault has popped up in Phibsboro with 106 homes affected.
Those customers aren’t expected to get their electricity back until 14:30 today.
