295 people were killed in total when a Malaysia Airlines plane was shot down over Ukraine earlier today.
A ground-to-air missile launcher, believed to be held by Russian forces, is reported to have brought down the passenger jet over Ukrainian airspace.
While many passengers’ identities have yet to be established, the majority were thought to be Dutch nationals flying overseas.
The flight originated in Amsterdam and was headed for Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia.
