The youngest person to die was aged 51.
The Health Protection Surveillance Centre (HPSC) has reported that 17 more people with Covid-19 have died in Ireland.
The HPSC has also been notified of an additional 557 confirmed cases of Covid-19 in the country.
Nine of these deaths occurred in March, four occurred in February, and four occurred in January or earlier.
The median age of those who died was 81 years and the age range was 51 to 94 years.
There has now been a total of 4,566 Covid-19 related deaths in Ireland, and 228,215 confirmed cases.
As of 14 March, 617,050 doses of Covid-19 vaccine have been administered in Ireland.
452,554 people have received their first dose and 164,496 people have received their second dose.
