The tragedy occurred in Pennsylvania, with at least two gunmen still believed to be at large.
Two gunmen have shot and killed five people and injured a number of others at a party in Wilkinsburg, near Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania.
It is believe that four of the five victims were women and most of the bodies were discovered in the back porch of the garden party.
According to ABC News, it is not yet known what the motives were behind the shootings.
Lt. Andrew Schurman of the Allegheny County has described the horrific scene:
“It looks like right now they were all fleeing toward the backdoor of the residence when the second gunman fired from the side of the yard,” he said.
“They all seemed to get caught on the back porch.”
