506 new cases of Covid-19 confirmed in Ireland, one more death

91 of the cases are in Dublin.

The Health Protection Surveillance Centre has reported that one more person with Covid-19 has died.

The HPSC has also been notified that 506 new cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in Ireland.

39% of the cases are confirmed to be associated with outbreaks or are close contacts of a confirmed case while 59 cases have been identified as community transmission.

91 of the cases are in Dublin, 76 in Cork, 53 in Donegal, 42 in Meath and the remaining 244 cases are located across 21 counties.

The HSE is working to identify any contacts the patients may have had to provide them with information and advice to prevent further spread.

923 new cases of Covid-19 were confirmed in the last 24 hours in Northern Ireland, according to its Department of Health.

4,674 cases have been reported across the region in the last seven days.
