The young boy required hospital treatment.
Gardaí are investigating a traffic collision that occurred at Fairlawn Road in Finglas, Dublin at 3.50pm on Tuesday (29 January).
A juvenile male was injured in the collision.
The young boy received leg injuries and required hospital treatment.
The offending vehicle left the scene before the Gardaí arrived.
Investigations are ongoing.
