The five day average of cases in the Republic of Ireland stands at 714.2.
The Health Protection Surveillance Centre has been notified that one more person with Covid-19 has died.
825 new cases of Covid-19 were also reported to the HSPC.
As of 2pm today, there are now 221 confirmed cases in Irish hospitals, up 17 from yesterday while there are now 32 cases in intensive care units, an increase of two from yesterday.
254 of the cases are in Dublin, 147 in Cork, 39 in Cavan, 38 in Donegal, 37 in Kildare and the remaining 310 cases are spread across 20 other counties.
Speaking at the Department of Health on Monday, Chief Medical Officer Dr Tony Holohan confirmed that 20 counties now have a 14 day incidence rate of over 100 cases per 100,000 population.
