Gardaí have arrested a man for the abduction of a woman in Longford yesterday.
The woman, who was abducted yesterday afternoon, is believed to be in here twenties. It has also been reported that there were seven children in the house in Edgeworthstown, Co. Longford at the time of the kidnapping.
It has been reported that the woman is mother to four of the children and was caring for the other three at the time she was taken.
The woman was recovered at 7am this morning after an effort from Gardaí and the local community.
