The incident happened on the Green line.
An altercation broke out on the Luas Green line near Miltown last night and three people were stabbed.
Three men started fighting in one of the carriages before a security guard intervened to break it up.
The security man and two of the guys involved in the skirmish ended up with stab wounds, while the fourth man was unhurt.
The three men who were stabbed were taken to St Vincent’s hospital for treatment but none of the injuries were life-threatening.
Gardaí arrested two men and detained them overnight.
