Sad news from Oz.
The town of Mulranny in Mayo are in mourning this weekend after the news that local man Kevin Moran passed away.
Kevin, who played rugby at underage level with Connacht, died in a road traffic accident in Australia where he had been living.
According to the Connaught Telegraph, the man was also a talented soccer player and starred with Achill Rovers for a number of seasons.
They posted their condolences on Facebook.
Achill Rovers would like to send our deepest condolences to the family and friends of Kevin Moran who tragically lost his life yesterday. Kevin was a former Achill Rovers player. Ar dheis dé go raibh a anam.
