An Aer Lingus flight was forced into an emergency landing at JFK Airport in New York last night.
The Boeing 757 was bound for Shannon but was forced to turn back when a technical fault was found and all 110 passengers on board alighted safely.
The aircraft had been due in Shannon at 6am this morning but Aer Lingus said that all passengers would be accommodated on the next available flights.
