Fair play to Aer Lingus for acting so quickly.
Brussels is in disarray this morning after a number of explosions this morning in its Zaventem Airport and the Malbeek Metro Station.
As a result, all flights to Brussels have been cancelled and flights currently en route to Belgium have been diverted.
An Aer Lingus flight that had been travelling to Brussels has been instructed to land in Amsterdam instead.
Following an incident at #Brussels #Zavantem, EI630 has diverted to AMS, and airport operations at @BrusselsAirport have been suspended.
