Good news ahead of the new year.
We could all do with a few more bob in our pockets and there’s good news this morning as it’s likely we’ll all have have some extra income next year.
A survey published by HR consulting firm Mercer has revealed that 97% of Irish employers in the private sector will increase wages in 2016.
They spoke to 135 organisations to compile the Salary Movement Report and the pay rise is expected to be somewhere just above 2%.
According to the Irish Times, the firm says workers in technology and non-financial services are likely to fare better than those in other industries.
€20,000 increases to €20,400
€30,000 increases to €30,600
€40,000 increases to €40,800
