We don’t actively encourage people to go and change their names or anything like that, but in this case we might make an exception.
Under normal circumstances, you wouldn’t expect to come under much scrutiny in the local media for an offence as harmless as using a colour television without a license, a crime that was given a couple of lines in this week’s Banbury News.
When you’ve a name like this lady has, however, word is inevitably going to get around…

While it must undoubtedly suck to have a surname like that, we can only hope that Kim inherited the double-barrelled surname as a child and didn’t take it on in marriage.
Anyway, you can be sure she’ll have her license up to date in future, lest she get caught with her (or anyone else’s for that matter) pants down once again.
