When he said that Fulham would be in safe hands, he wasn’t just paying (top) lip service to the new owner
As we reported earlier, Shahid Khan’s deal to take over Fulham was complete late last night for a fee between £150-200 million, depending on what paper you read.
Anyway, the official handing over ceremony came earlier today, as Al Fayed, complete with comedy moustache and all, presented Khan with a lovely Fulham jersey.

It must be remembered that this is the man who commissioned a statue of Michael Jackson outside his stadium, so the Premier League will certainly be a bit more dull without him in it.
We look forward to Fulham fans wearing comedy moustaches to all their games next season. Movember should be interesting at the very least too.
