Up to 90,000 passengers are expected to be affected by a strike taken by Luas staff belonging to SIPTU, who have been seeking pay rises of up to 53%.
Work-to-rule action by employees involved in the strike commenced last Saturday after talks at the Workplace Relations Commission aimed at averting strike action broke down.
Luas staff want parity in salary with Irish rail drivers, but Transdev say that the cost of implementing such pay rises would be unsustainable and there is currently no sign of a resolution.
Transdev have provided information on alternative travel and refund arrangements, which you can read in more detail here.
