The 8,000 are in placed where the Berlin Wall used to stand.
Sunday marks 25 years since the fall of the Berlin Wall, and this installation is the perfect way to remember one of the most iconic days in world history.
Artist Christopher Bauder was commissioned to fill 8,000 balloons with helium and place them along the route where the wall used to stand.
The 10km route has been lined with the balloons, which will be released into the night sky at 7pm after volunteers attach personal messages to them.
