Legendary comedian Billy Connolly has been gigging around Ireland in the past few weeks, but he caused quite a stir in Killarney.

After reports emerged earlier today that comedian Billy Connolly seriously offended photographer Valerie O’Sullivan as she was snapping a few shots at his gig in Killarney this week, the comedian took to Twitter to explain himself.
According to reports, he berated her for getting in his eyeline and distracting him while he was on stage, and she reportedly left the venue in tears afterwards.
Since the incident happened however, either members of the audience or the photographer herself have gone to the papers to talk about what happened, and as you would expect, Billy is typically sympathetic to her plight.
Connolly’s fans have been backing him to the hilt, but the friends of O’Sullivan have been angrily responding on Twitter, and all in all, this causing quite a stir on social media.
