While today will start with some cloudy patches and the risk of some light rain, that will clear during the day and turn to sunshine in most parts of the country.
Top temperatures for the day will range from 8-11 degrees with some southerly breezes blowing across the country.
Now for the bad news.

Temperatures tonight will plummet as far as a very chilly -4 degrees.

There will be sharp to severe frost away from the Atlantic coast but it will be mainly dry and clear in most parts of the country.
Tuesday will start dry, but outbreaks of rain are likely to spread across from the west in the morning, reaching eastern areas by afternoon.
Temperatures will range from 8-11 degrees.
