The German police have revealed more details.
German police have provided an update regarding the Munich shootings where nine people were killed and 27 injured, ten of them suffering critical injuries, at a shopping mall by a lone gunman who later shot himself dead nearby.
Speaking at press conference this afternoon, the German authorities believe that there are “no indications whatsoever that the gunman had links to Islamic State” and that the shooters was “on his own”. The attacker was 18-years-old and was born and raised in Munich. The police revealed that the attacker was also undergoing psychiatric treatment and had no previous criminal records.
