TV presenter and daughter of Bob Geldof, Peaches Geldof, was found dead at a house in Kent, England, this afternoon.
According to reports from BBC News and Sky News, Peaches, aged just 25, was pronounced dead by South East Coast Ambulance Service today.
BBC News reports: “Police say they were called to an address near Wrotham, Kent following a report of concern for the welfare of a woman on Monday afternoon.”
A statement from Kent Police read, “At this stage, the death is being treated as an unexplained and sudden.”
One of the last Instagram messages that Peaches, a mother of two, posted to her page features an old picture of Peaches along with her own mother Paula, who died of a heroin overdose back in 2000.
Peaches’ Dad Bob released a statement on behalf of the Geldof family this evening which read:
“Peaches has died. We are beyond pain. She was the wildest, funniest, cleverest, wittiest and the most bonkers of all of us. Writing ‘was’ destroys me afresh. What a beautiful child. How is this possible that we will not see her again? How is that bearable? We loved her and will cherish her forever. How sad that sentence is. Tom and her sons Astala and Phaedra will always belong in our family, fractured so often, but never broken. Bob, Jeanne, Fifi, Pixie and Tiger Geldof.”
