‘What is this sorcery?’ we hear you ask.
It’s a comedy roast with a very Irish twist.
Five of Ireland’s finest comedians – Hilary Rose, The Viper, Eric Lalor, Fred Cooke and Karl Spain – will be visiting Cork (UCC), Dublin (Trinity), Galway (NUIG) and Limerick (UL) and Maynooth (NUIM).
Hilary is a proud Cork woman, Eric loves Dublin (he’d want to with that accent), Karl’s Limerick roots are there for everyone to see, while the Viper is as Wesht as Mayo bottling All-Irelands and Fred is from that general Leinster area that’s not quite Dublin, nor is it the Midlands.
See, we’ve started already.
Each location will have a comedian from the area to defend their hometown, while the other three tell the hilarious, yet refreshing truth.
We also want to give you the chance to tell your secrets at the events. That’s right we want to hear your refreshing truth.
We’ll have the Sprite Truth Booth at every location and we want you to go in and tell us your truths.
For instance, how about that time JOE had to admit that we sometimes look for stories on Her.ie.
