A man was injured after a car seemingly deliberately drove into another car at the scene.
A man is due in court on Thursday morning in relation to a serious incident that took place outside Citywest Shopping Centre on Wednesday evening.
The incident, which saw a car seemingly deliberately drive into another car, took place at approximately 5.30pm on Wednesday.
A man in his 20s was taken to Tallaght Hospital for treatment; his injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
A 23-year-old man was arrested and taken to Tallaght Garda Station, where he was detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.
He is expected in court at 10.30am on Thursday (24 October).
The scene of the incident was technically and forensically examined and the man’s car was seized by investigating Gardaí.
Gardaí are also appealing for witnesses to contact them.
