Online business will reopen from tomorrow.
Next has announced that its online service will reopen for business on Wednesday 15 April.
Having closed operations due to the global Covid-19 crisis, Next has said that it will begin to take orders from Wednesday onwards.
The online operation, which has been closed since 26 March, will initially offer only categories that customers most need, Next said.
In a brief statement, it said: “In order to operate our warehouse safely, we are limiting the number of warehouse colleagues working at any time, and so we will limit the number of customer orders we can take each day.
“We have successfully tested opening and taking a limited number of orders today. Please come back again tomorrow morning. In the meantime feel free to browse the website and add items to your favourites wishlist.
“We’re sorry about this, and hope that you’ll understand.”
Current restrictions in Ireland mean that all non-essential shops are due to remain closed until May, though online services are not affected in the same way.
